In an effort to ensure the safety of our staff and clients, we are utilizing low-contact service to all our clients for all pet care needs.
At each of our hospitals we have implemented additional cleaning and sanitizing procedures that meet or exceed CDC recommendations, including disinfecting all surfaces more frequently, especially surfaces touched by the public, such as door handles and our front counters. Frequent hand washing, using gloves, and avoiding touching our nose, eyes, and mouth are protocols we are following, and we encourage you to do the same. We will also not be shaking hands or hugging to prevent viral transmission.
We have instructed staff not to come to work if they or someone in their family is sick, coughing or has a fever. At times we may be short-staffed, causing increased wait times for your pet to be seen. Please be patient and understanding if it takes us longer than usual to have your pet seen and treated. Our front desk staff will do their best to keep clients informed of wait times. Likewise, we kindly ask that you please not personally come to our hospital with your pet if you or a member of your family have a fever, cough, or cold-like symptoms. If possible, please stay home, tend to yourself and send your pet with another person to be treated. While there is currently no evidence that pets become ill from COVID-19 nor that they transmit it to other animals, including humans, we may take extra precautions with your pet if there is a family member displaying symptoms.
Curbside Service Prescriptions: Give us a call when you arrive in the parking lot and we will take payment and bring your product directly to your car!
Online Pharmacy: Did you know that we have an online pharmacy? Many medications and food items can be ordered online and shipped directly to your home! Please allow 3-5 days for this process. You can order online by clicking on the “online store” link on our home page. If you don’t have internet access at home or are having trouble logging in to the pharmacy, please call our office and one of our customer service representatives would be happy to help you set up your account.
Drop-Off Appointments: Are all your kids in the car with you since school is canceled and you don’t want to deal with unbuckling and bringing the whole family in? We have you covered! Let us know that you’d like your appointment to be a drop-off appointment and we will send you some paperwork to fill out and send back. When you arrive, we will come to your car, pick up your pet, and complete the procedures while you run errands. Your pet can stay at the clinic until we close if needed!
Surgeries & Dental Procedures: While you are working from home it’s a great time to monitor your pet’s recovery from surgery or dental procedures. And we will do everything we can to make it possible for you to limit your human contact while still being able to tend to your furry friends’ needs. The same parking-lot services mentioned above apply to surgery appointments. And, if you are unwilling or unable to leave your home but would like to keep your pet’s appointment, please let us know – we will do everything we can to find ways to get your pet safely to our clinics.
