Dog Boarding Services at Sunnyvale Veterinary Clinic
Dogs have comfortable, clean dog runs in our boarding room, with frequent trips to our outdoor play yard.
When your dog comes to stay with us, he or she will be treated like family, with lots of caring attention from our kennel staff. (Boarding services offered for current clients only; if you are a new client please see New Client Information)
Our dog kennels are raised off the floor with individual covered drains for easy cleaning. Their non-skid floor is easy for dogs to walk on and big enough to easily fit a dog bed, food and water. These kennels are for larger dogs; we have spacious brand new stainless steel cages for small dogs, and a dog play yard, for all dogs. The kennel area is open to the grooming and laundry/food prep areas, so the dogs are entertained by watching us work.

Our Dog Boarding Service Includes:

Veterinary supervision

Fresh food and water. We feed Hill’s Science Diet or Iams Veterinary Formula foods, or you may bring your own if your pet is on a special diet or does not normally eat this kind of food.

Frequent (3 or more per day) walks/play time

Soft blanket or bed to sleep on

Heated/Air conditioned kennel areas

Lots of love from our caring staff

A completely enclosed dog play yard with pet-friendly artificial turf. Dogs get a chance to run and play, rather than leash-only walks.
- Please note: We do NOT provide 24-hour supervision for boarding pets. However, pets are housed only in safe, pet-specific kennels and runs.
Boarding Requirements

Your dog must be a current patient at our clinic (veterinary exam within the past 12 months) and current on all vaccinations, including Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella (Kennel Cough), as well as flea and worm preventive treatment. (i.e., Advantage Multi, Frontline Plus, Heartgard, etc.)
