Our dog kennels are raised
off the floor with individual covered drains for easy cleaning. Their
non-skid floor is easy for dogs to walk on and big enough to easily fit
a dog bed, food and water. These
kennels are for larger dogs; we have spacious brand new stainless steel
cages for small dogs, and a dog play yard, for all dogs (see right) |
|

Our cat condos are spacious and comfortable. There are
side "portholes" so that cats from the same family can share 2 condos,
passing though the porthole between them. Or, there are also portholes
which open top to bottom, making the possibilities endless! When space
permits, we give single cats two adjoining condos. Resting shelves give
cats a comfortable place to relax, and several of the condos have views
out the window. |

Tips for Boarding Your Pets
by Dr. Singh
Going
away for the holidays or vacation and planning on boarding your pets? Here are
some tips to make to process easier, whether you board with us or at another
facility:
-
Make
your reservations early. Many boarding facilities fill up well in advance,
especially during peak holiday seasons.
-
Make
sure your pet’s vaccines are up to date, especially the Bordetella (kennel
cough) vaccine, which is required at reputable boarding facilities.
-
Call
for an appointment to tour the facility ahead of time and meet the animal
caretakers.
-
Write
down instructions for any special feeding or care requirements, and bring your
pet's own food if they are on a special diet, labeled with their name and your
last name. Be sure to bring any medications they require as well.
-
Pick up
and fill out the boarding forms prior to
dropping off your pet to save time.
-
Leave
emergency contact phone numbers, including your veterinarian’s phone number.
